If when you initially log in you get a link you can use as a bookmarklet (love 'em) to sit on your bookmarks bar which will bring up a mini window with Twitter Gadget in rather than wait for iGoogle to fall over like most of Google. Bing is looking much better, and if Google kill off the resons why you had their homepage up to begin with, why use Google instead of Bing or Duck Duck Go? Give them some income!

This was working great for years* but for the past week or so it seems totally broken. Profile pictures aren't working, it's not refreshing consistently and the send button has disappeared. What's going on? *Only thing I couldn't stand was losing what I had written, mid-tweet because of the auto-refresh.

Staying logged in for up to 1 week at a time is the default behavior of the gadget for security purposes. If you are not staying logged in for at least this length, then you have a setting issue with your browser that can be fixed by simply contacting us via the support / feedback button on the gadget. Given the opportunity, we can work with you to fix it, not given the opportunity, all we get is negative feedback for an issue unrelated to the functionality of the gadget itself.

All of my gadgets keep themselves logged in except this one. That includes my Facebook gadget, Gmail gadget, Google Reader gadget, Woot gadget, How To of the Day gadget, Weather gadget, Places to See gadget, Current Moon Phase gadget, Netflix gadget, Yahoo Finance gadget, Motley fool gadget: all of them. This gadget logs itself out. There's no option to not have it do this. There's no alternate version that does not do this. Even this would not be so bad if I didn't have to manually log in by entering my login and password, each and every time, even though each time I tell it to "Remember me", and on the next screen I check the "save password" checkbox. Doesn't matter - I still have to type in my login and password. Since it's usually logged out and too much trouble to log in, I usually just leave it logged out and ignore it. It's become a dead spot on my otherwise awesome iGoogle page. :-( I'm on Safari/Mac so maybe that's the problem, but none of my other gadgets have this problem.

Gotta say, gave this a spin based on a recommendation of a friend, and I've come away thoroughly impressed. It takes a few minutes to get familiar with how it functions, but once you dig in, the customization and settings options are incredibly robust. I can't think of a feature I use / want that's not present. Thank you!

I've been using TwitterGadget for probably close to three years now, and what I love most about it is seeing new feature continually added on an ongoing basis. It started out as a basic client, and has turn into, for me, a full featured Twitter application, all in the discrete confines of my iGoogle homepage. I love it!

Web based or installed, TwitterGadget is by far the most feature rich, convenient, and functional client I've used. I've suggested features and they've implemented them, which I never expected a reply, let alone taking my idea and implementing! Most glitches, I've found, that people see, are due to the twitter API itself, as opposed to the client being used.

Running on Chrome on a Mac and one with Windows, it works fantastic. Top of my iGoogle page, I can follow what's going on. Good parameters you can setup yourself.

There isn't a way to tie the remember me to the iGoogle account instead of the local computer? If there is, it could be indefinate, since iGoogle has its own security features.
