Just go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/ and you will see the link to free music at the bottom. It's right on their own website.

By giving away songs, it promotes the artist. Obviously, Apple has an agreement with any artist/recording company to give away their song for a week. I wouldn't be surprised if an artist even pays for the privilege of giving away their music on iTunes because it can make them a star. Free iTune songs that turned into hits include: Colby Caillet's "Bubbly" was the free single of the week 7-17-07 and became a hit later in the year. Sara Bareilles's "Love Song" was a free song on iTunes 6-19-07 and moved up the charts later in the year. Rihanna's biggest break was probably her giveaway of her song "Pon de Replay" on 9-3-04 which was a big promotion of an unknown artist at the time and became a top hit. Bruce Springsteen's "Radio Nowhere" was even helped in the charts by being a free song 8-28-07.

its probably not illegal cuz theyre probably still giving money to the artists and the artist might have even had some say in it i mean once a person hears one free song they would want to download more of the same artist

to my calculations this gadjet is a total waste of time! peanuts r used for many things such as food for elephants, fly traps, mouse bait and also if you rub them on your shoes they are more grippy!! by Frankinstein podles
