I'm so glad I'm not the only one!!! I'm so frustrated, I just cannot get to www.google.co.za, it keeps directing to www.google.com, even my igoogle news tab shows US news instead of SA now... and all my settings point me to SA... can someone please help us!

Quite confusing:
I use Safari on a MAC and today I cannot get access to google.co.za, always redirected to google.com;
same thing using Chrome (with Parallels Desktop);
BUT with Opera its working normally.
Anyone has an idea?

Really strange!! I recently noticed that the tab to "Search New Zealand sites Only"  disappeared from my Google search page. My wife uses the same version of Mozilla and she still has the option. Dunno who did what! Really frustrating, but www.bing.com is working very well, thanks for that idea colinkshirley!

Is this still happening? I'm not seeing it on my computer.

You may want to try clearing your cache before you try to access Google.co.za again -- make sure you're viewing the latest version of the page -- instructions linked below.

Cheers,
Jem

Yep still happening :(

Cleared cache, cookies, history etc. I'm i'm not on igoogle I can get onto www.google.co.za and do a SA web search. But as soon as I click on igoogle it goes to http://www.google.com/ig?hl=en, even when i type www.google.co.za it still directs immediately to http://www.google.com/ig?hl=en. Its so strange, still cant get my SA news back either, there's just the option for US news.

Jem, are you sure this is something Google is not testing?  I think this might be a test of some sorts and not a bug.
