This is exactly how Google will lose their client base. When I want to search something on google it used to ask 'SA Only'. Now I Bing because I do not have the option. Even on Classic Google, it asks 'Go to SA Google', only to do a search and Tokyo and China cr@p comes up!!!! WTF!!! Bing it is!

Good catch, rustybrick, and sorry to everyone for any confusion.
There is indeed an experiment going on in which the "pages from
[country]" radio button is on the bottom of the search results page. Jimmy and I
should have realized this was what many of you were seeing.
If you're on Google.co.za and you don't see the option to narrow your results to pages from South Africa, check the bottom :) Google
runs experiments from time to time as we continue to try to improve
Search. You can learn more about experiments on the Official Google
Blog -- I've included a link below. -Jem

I have the same problem, but only on my desktop. My laptop still gives the SA option. How come, and how can I fix?
I think this is something Google is testing. What browser do you see this on?
Solved the problem ... went to www.bing.com - microsofts browser, and it gives the "SA only" option.
I will not use google until the solve this...
I'm working on this issue. Please check the following thread for updates as and when they become available.
Same problem as colinkshirley, it really irritates me. I'm using chrome and just cannot get the 'search South Africa only" back. Please sort this out Jimmy, it's very frustrating and as much as I am a Google supporter, Bing offers the only solution right now.
YAY!!!! Every morning I go to Google, hoping that this problem has been sorted out. I really don't like Bing so much but it was the only solution, 'was' being the operative word! Well done Google! It took you a week but you fixed it :)

I'm so glad this is sorted :) I prefer using google to any other... one question though.. our gmail is blocked at work, so something changed so that i could see my inbox contents on my igoogle page, click on an email, and instead of opening it would open in igoogle, not gmail, so it wasn't blocked :) but nwo its changed back, i click on an email and it opens gmail and its blocked again... is there an option to have the email open in igoogle?
Jem, this is what I do. :)
Hi,
I have had the same thing with google.co.nz. It now offers an option in Maori but no filter for NZ sites only. What have I done to deserve this: I pay my taxes and am kind to animals...?
Major pain!
