Operation Beautiful

Encouraging self love one sticky note at a time

Some of my girls groups have been discussing ways to give back to our communities and inspire self-love. One of the suggestions was to leave inspirational sticky notes on public bathroom mirrors. I found this movement, Operation Beautiful, and want to create a space to encourage girls to spread love and encouragement to others. This will obviously have a positive impact on those reading the messages, but the results are the same for the girls creating the messages. When we do positive things for others, we boost our own self-esteem and self-love!

WHAT: A workshop designed to give girls the space to discuss ways to love themselves. They will also receive sticky notes and we will work together to create #operationbeautiful notes. These can be placed anywhere - at home, in the community, or at school! (please check with your daughter's school to ensure this is ok).

WHEN: December 2nd from 1-3pm!

WHY: We know self esteem in girls begins plummeting at age 10 and I want to help change that. Research tells us that feeling connected to other girls, having positive female role models, and doing positive things for others helps boost self-esteem. So let's get together to accomplish all of this!

COST: Free!
