In an Instagram post shared this morning, Die Antwoord have accused Suicide Squad director David Ayer of ripping off their style. The post features a video containing, as they put it in the description, “all da lil tiny details u nibbeld,” including multiple side-by-side shots of Jared Leto’s Joker and Die Antwoord’s Ninja, as well as Yolandi alongside Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn. The post also claims Ayer talked up the band on set, and called Ninja before the movie’s release “pretendin 2b down.” See the full post and watch the video below.
