The use of speaker spikes allows the vibrations generated by speakers to be absorbed through the high pressure point achieved, where the weight of the speaker is concentrated on the point of the spike. Most notably, the bass acoustics sound clearer, cleaner and more distinct. Thus, the bass is not transmitted to the underlying surface and can develop freely in the room.

The newly redesigned ViaBlue HS speaker spikes allow for increased compatibility with various equipment manufacturers. ViaBlue has redesigned the HS series speaker spikes to provide a through hole for mounting. This allows the user to adapt the spikes specifically to their installation requirements. The new 2 piece speaker spike design additionally provides up to 1mm height adjustment.
