Where you’ve seen him before: You might not have. After moving to Los Angeles, he spent five years modeling and guested as a male model on HBO’s “Entourage.” “Kyle XY” is his first major role.
Fun fact: His first role was playing the Gander in a community theater production of “The Ugly Duckling.” Every time he goes home, his grandmother pulls out the videotape of the play and they watch it together.
On what fans say to him: “I’ve had some pretty interesting people come up to me. I had a girl stick her tongue in my ear. I had a lady at a bar in New York come up and just stick her hand underneath my shirt, touch my bellybutton and whisper in my ear, “I touched it.”
On how his character has changed this season: “Anytime I read a scene where it’s ‘Kyle flies through the air,’ or every time there’s a new thing, it’s exciting. Every week, I’m looking forward to something new I get to explore. The training has been great. They’ve had me learning guitar. They’ve had me wall-climbing. . . . It’s great what they’ve done with the character this year and it’s really nice that they’ve let him kind of grow up, and he’s really matured. But at the same time, he’s definitely still got that Kyle-ism about him and he still looks at the world in a totally unique way.”
Where you’ll see him in five years: Flying over to that other show about people with special abilities – NBC’s “Heroes.”
