Five-star guard prospect Bryce Thompson named Oklahoma State one of seven finalists Thursday night via his Twitter account. Thompson also included Arkansas, Kansas, Michigan State, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Texas.

The Cowboys, Razorbacks and Sooners are the closest schools to home for the Booker T. Washington product from Tulsa, Oklahoma. In addition to playing close to home, OSU could give Thompson the opportunity to be teammates with Cade Cunningham, who will make his official visit Stillwater on Sept. 7.
Thompson’s visit to OSU is scheduled for Sept. 27-29, his father Rod Thompson told 247Sports.
