My date with a vampire: Ian Somerhalder cuddles up to pretty model in flirty photo shoot
He seems incredibly happy in a long-term relationship with his Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev.
But that didn’t stop Ian Somerhalder from getting flirty with a pretty model for his latest shoot, all in the name of fashion.
The hunky star smouldered as he posed for the series of cheeky images for the April issue of US Glamour magazine, which aim to give readers an idea of what it would be like to spend a day at home with Ian.

The 33-year-old and his date for the day can be seen playing cards, having a pretend fight and relaxing on a bed.
In one shot, taken in a kitchen, Ian smooches a mannequin as the brunette reaches up to open a cupboard.
Ian is dressed simply in a grey T-shirt, blue jeans and tan boots, while the model in question shows off upcoming trends in her array of colourful outfits.

While the fashion shoot shows what it might be like to have Ian as a boyfriend, the actor’s interview with the magazine verifies that he is quite a catch.
He admitted that he once flew a girl all the way to Paris just to take her out for a lunch date.
He said: ‘Flying across the ocean for one meal was pretty awesome,’ before adding, ‘It paid off.’
And he also said he would never act macho just to impress a woman.

Ian admitted: ‘If you are respectful and nice and charming to a woman, it’s a better approach. And I don’t know what women want. No one knows what women want.’
As well as being the perfect gentleman, the actor is doing his bit for the planet and recently set up the Ian Somerhalder Foundation, which aims to help young people learn about protecting the environment.
The star said: ‘Kids are meeting in coffee shops and basements figuring out what’s unsustainable in their communities. That’s the future.’
