Emily Deschanel's husband David Hornsby is to appear on Bones.
Hornsby - an actor known for his role on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - will play a priest in an upcoming episode of the Fox drama, E! Online reports.
Bones couple Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Deschanel) are to wed in the upcoming ninth season.
However, it is unclear if Hornsby's character will be responsible for marrying the pair.
The 37-year-old - who married Deschanel in 2010 - starts shooting on Bones this week.
The series returns to Fox on Monday, September 16. Sky1 air Bones in the UK.
