What people are saying about Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve

I had a great day doing the panorama tour. There was some clouds that day, so viewing of God's window was limited, but the hike to God's window was nice, and the other views/water falls were great. I took the lift down to the forest below, very nice with lots of info signs. Lots to learn. The guide was great, it was private tour with only me, and we talked the whole route, he knows alot about the area/plants/animals. We also chatted about our favorite movies and traveling. He packed me a good breakfast with sandwich, juice box, chips, chocolate bar, apple, and yogurt. Lunch was also great, at a panorama camp resturant. I had a spicy pizza that was great! Overall a great day even if there was some clouds.

The day with Stan was a very special experience. He is very friendly and likes to cater to individual wishes. Due to a small accident, I had a handicap when walking, which he emphatically took into account in the planning. The program was well coordinated and varied. I can only recommend the tour. We had a super fun and educational day with Bert-Jan! We left early in the morning and went to all the beautiful places on the Panorama Route. Bert-Jan can tell us a lot about South Africa and its flora and fauna. And last but not least, we laughed a lot. Very worthwhile to do this with a guide!!!
