  1. I saw this Greater kudu is south africa, is this a juvenile male?
    wikipedia says "The horns do not begin to grow until the male is between the age of 6–12 months,", so is this guy 1 year old? he looks pretty big..
    I also read that females don't have horns so I'm a bit confused :)

The Greater Kudu is a woodland antelope found throughout eastern and southern Africa. Despite occupying such widespread territory, they are sparsely populated in most areas, due to a declining habitat, deforestation and hunting.
