najluni15
I've had a crab in my pocillipora for some time and am now hoping to Id it. It's about 2 cm wide, orange, smooth with black claw tips. I haven't noticed any damage and the fist sized coral seems healthy. Any ideas? I thought acropora crab but all of the other ones I have and have seen are white Link to comment

JavaJacketOC
The original post said the crab is smooth, gorillas are hairy/spiny. Does it look like one f these just a different color? I believe a lot of them camo into their piece of coral. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=497+501+2914&pcatid=2914 Link to comment
najluni15
Thank you for the replies. That's the thing, it looks like a gorilla crab but without the hair. Or an acropora crab with black claw tips. I'll keep it unless I notice damage Link to comment
