Gossip Girl Blake Lively to be brand ambassador for Stella McCartney

It looks like Blake Lively has officially hit the big time in the fashion world.

The Gossip Girl actress made headlines last year when it was announced that she would be the face of Chanel's new Mademoiselle handbag line.

And now, Lively will have another fashion job on her books.

According to this article from the Daily Mail, Blake will be the new brand ambassador for Stella McCartney's line.

Apparently the star impressed the designer at the Met Ball last month.  Both women share a strong love animals and Blake believes in cruelty-free fashion. Because of these ideals, McCartney believes the young star will serve as a good representation for her high-fashion collection.

There's no word yet on when we can expect to see Blake repping the line, but we will be sure to keep you updated.
