anyone have experience with this happening? i was just browsing through RC and saw a pic, that the guy claimed might be nerite eggs.

they looked VERY familiar, as i have had these things pop up all over my tank in the past month. and i do have nerite snails, i just got them about 1 1/2 months ago. i also have cerith snails breeding in my tank, and i think the stomata snails are breeding in the fuge now...but not totally certain about that.

(not my pic, just using that guys pic b/c i cant take shots of them in focus)

I have the same thing in my setup, I thought it was the neon goby but I did add the goby at the same time as the nerite snails.

If you look close you might see them on the liverock, mine are all over the rock and the glass. They have never hatched, I usually just scrape them off the side.

My Stomatella snails breed like crazy.

I'll have to get some pictures of my mystery eggs.

My stomatella snails breed like crazy too. I've seen those same ones in the pic on the wall of my tank as well. Not sure what they are.

Is this the nerite snail your talking about? I have a bunch of these in my tank.

hmmm, hard to tell in that pic. that almost looks like a margarita shell. nerite snails are very small, bout the size of a green bean (actually a tiny big bigger). their shells have alot of fancy colors in them, including blue/green.
