This is the Achzarit (Early) Heavy APC from Meng in 1/35th scale. It was built out of the box, with the exception of some Friulmodel T-55 tracks, and Tamiya drive sprockets. Meng provides vinyl tracks, but they are too short to even close up around the wheels, let alone sit properly. And, Friul tracks did not fit the Meng sprockets. Fortunately, I had some spare Tamiya parts. Otherwise, no other changes were made. The kit doesn't have an interior, so the rear troop doors were glued closed. The top hatches are movable, and the interior void was painted Black. With the exception of the useless tracks, the kit builds well, has generally good detail, and easy to use photo-etch. Paint is from AK Real Colors, and weathering was done with various Ammo by Mig washes and pigments.
