Halle Berry, 57, will take your compliments. “God bless you,” she told a commenter on her Instagram Live Sunday who commented that she “looked 30.” The Oscar winner, however, acknowledged that time comes for us all—even her.

”Let me tell you, I am aging," she said, "but I’m going down fighting.”

Berry took to the platform for 20 minutes, wearing minimal makeup and a headscarf, to talk about her health and her recent partnership with probiotics company Pendulum. Berry, who is diabetic, said that she takes “a ton of vitamins,” including “calcium for my bones” as “we go down that path of life.”

She avoids processed sugar, she said, and credits her diabetes diagnosis for making healthier choices.

“I think that’s helped me over the years, actually, as well,” she said of diabetes. “Having that disease has actually made me healthier than many people that I actually know, because I’ve always been very mindful of that.”

“I’m pretty much a pharmacy,” she joked of her arsenal of supplements.

Berry recently discussed going through menopause with Women’s Health, saying, “We can make talking about women’s health issues less taboo by daring to talk about it.”

“I am challenging everything I thought I knew about menopause,” she said. “Things like: ‘Your life is over.’ ‘You are disposable.’ ‘Society no longer has a place for you.’ ‘You should retire.’ ‘You should pack it up.’”

She said that she’s “my best self now.”

“I have the most to offer. I have zero blanks to give anymore,” she said. “I'm solidly in my womanhood. I finally realize what I have to say is valuable, even if no one else agrees.”
