Britney Spears Says Gays Are 'Adorable' And 'Hilarious' During 99.7 NOW FM Interview

Britney Spears: Gay People Are 'Adorable And Hilarious'
|

Britney Spears has long been championed as an icon within the gay community and her new single "Work Bitch" certainly seems to have made its impact on gay culture.

However, Spears may have ruffled some queer feathers today with comments she made during an interview on 99.7 NOW FM in San Francisco. Speaking specifically about her gay following and whether or not she has a group of gay people that influences her work, Britney responded, "A lot of my hair stylists and my beauty team that I work with are gay so I hang out with gays a lot and I just think they're adorable and hilarious."

Spears recently came under fire for alleged "gay marketing" and attempting to exploit her hugely LGBT fan base. You can listen to the whole interview below (the gay comments start at 0:39):

What do you think about Spears' latest statements?
