A heck of a phone. More than a phone. The 10X6 color display (Tablet size) makes the touch screen easy to operate. The captions option uses a real person monitoring each captions call and makes corrections when the text does not match the spoken words. Because of this it requires Internet access (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). The text monitor is paid by the U.S. Government, so when you register you have to check that you are hearing impaired and must give them your name birthday and last 4 of your social security number. You must also check that will will not let anyone not hearing impaired use the captions option on the phone (it is an option).

It can connect to 3 different BT standards, including Bluetooth Low Voltage BTE that some hearing aids use. Usability of the Bluetooth is the best, most flexible I have seen.

It is feature rich and easy to use. The volume control is a large physical button on the console and can be very loud if desired as can the speaker phone. This device is great for people for large or shaky fingers (like me). The screen icons are large and separated, the print large, the console is simple, the key pad, well spaced. There is 24X7 customer support and easy to get to (push a button).

Easy for elderly or most handicapped people to use, but they may need help setting it up and registering.

Purchased for my father as a gift and it has made life so much easier for the both of us! I was extremely pleased with how easy it was to install and my father loves how simple this phone is to use...and he usually hates any new technology I present him with. Both of us are truly pleased. If you have any loved one's who are hard of hearing, I highly recommend this item!

Phone received is not the one in the picture Phone received will not work wirh my wifi pass word??? Wifi password worked with the old phone whose screen went black or burned out?
