March 14, 2024This may be the first review I've ever written but felt this was necessary to save others' time, frustration, and wasted money.
I bought two of these seats on sale after the holidays. They were meant to replace a 4Ever and an Extend-to-Fit used by my older child so those seats could move on to my infant as our Snug Ride is getting too heavy to carry. I didn't install the seats right away because I wanted to keep using the click connect seat during the cold winter months and was foolishly confident that these seats would work for us based on our past experiences with Graco seats.
Today I tried to install the seats and was so disappointed to figure out that they will NOT properly install in either a 2021 VW Atlas or a 2022 Chev Silverado. I spent several hours trying to troubleshoot, used every trick I knew, and researched other ideas to try to make it work but it is not possible to get anywhere close to a tight enough install. I have installed our other Graco seats many times without issue and am confident in saying this was not a "me" issue.
Not only am I disappointed that I now don't have seats and have to find new seats with a different brand, I am also frustrated to have wasted so much time and money as I missed the return window for my purchase.
Does the job its made for...

January 19, 2024Wanted to replace an all-in-one/forever type car seat from Chicco with something that would give more space in backseat for other kiddos, while giving the kid using this booster more leg room. This booster accomplished that. I specifically wanted a booster that had a harness, cuz my kiddo is still under weight limit for regular seat belt. Maybe I’m just used to the high quality of Chicco, but the harness on this booster is a huge pain to tighten, the chest strap buckle is not intuitive and you can’t do it with one hand, and the shoulder “cushions” are a joke. The seat itself isn’t very deep, and my kid is very close to outgrowing the harness merely because he’ll be sitting on top of the buckle soon. I went with this Graco harness booster because it was middle ground price wise, and I should’ve known better cuz you get what you pay for. But I did expect more coming from Graco. Wouldn’t purchase again but it works well enough to keep my kid safe.

September 18, 2024I would like to start off by mentioning that the harness is for kids up to 40lbs so if you have a tall/heavy kiddo that you want in a harness for longer, this isnt the car seat for you. I also feel that the height adjuster is slightly inconvenient because there are no numbers indicating the level its at so you have to try multiple times to get the height right. The cup holders are a plastic piece that you have to remove and turn around they dont come separate in the package. Remember that car seat cannot move more than an inch side to side AT INSTALL POINT; so grab the part as close as you can to the install point and give it a firm (not vigorous) tug. If it doesnt move more than an inch, you have installed that part correctly. Its a good car seat I only gave 3 stars because I was under the impression that i would be able to use the harness for my kiddo because if the way they word the weight limit on the packaging.
Great purchase

June 27, 2024My son had this during an accident where we hydroplaned on a highway and flipped over. I definitely repurchased. He had a few marks on his shoulder/neck area and a scare. Very grateful for this car seat. I noticed others said it moves around a lot. That was not my experience. I did temporarily purchase a different one that was about $20 more and that one wobbled a lot so it may have to do with your actual cat as well. Note: the interior pic is just to show that’s the seat we had. The insurance’s towing service disconnected it when they brought it in and assessed the vehicle. If you are between a harness or a lap belt for your kiddo I definitely recommend the harness. Not only is it safer, I was able to get my child out of his seat in seconds during this emergency situation.
