Very Brown and Dented
Jprose30· Review provided by LEGO · October 13, 2024
I ordered this set from the Lego website as soon as it became available to insiders. Every time I order a collectors set from the website, it shows up with a dent in the product box. The shipping box had no damage, which means whoever prepared this box to ship saw that it had a dent and decided to send it anyway. I don't know what the shipping warehouse is doing, but it's very problematic. For those who collect these as collectors items, a dented box is painful.

As for the set itself, it is very large and brown with limited variation or interest on the sides. Inside is a little better with rooms that were shown in the movie. The mini figures that come with it are great. I guess the goal is to get play out of the mini figures instead of the barge itself. Looks like they learned their lesson from the AT-AT that had shockingly few minifigs.
Brilliant UCS Set
ShadowMKI· Review provided by LEGO · October 9, 2024
Another great addition to the UCS line up, with brilliant interior detail and a great set of minifigures. I would say value wise for the price, I think it should have come with the Sarlacc Pitt & Skiff, then I definitely think it would be worthy of it's price point.

Unrelated to the set itself but I found my self yet again incredibly disappointed in how the Gifts with Purchases were sent. I opened the box to find my Luke's Lightsaber set crushed as well as one of the other GWP received, due to it being poorly packaged, in a incredibly flimsy box with no further protection. Especially with what I class as a collectors item, you'd have hoped it would come as well packaged as the Sail Barge itself.. I definitely think LEGO need to sort out they're smaller set packaging when delivering as this is now the second time recently that I've had poorly packed goods...
[Rewarded Review] Disappointing mini-figures
Alexios· Review provided by LEGO · October 13, 2024
Really disappointing to see the C-3PO without dual molded legs when it is already available in other sets (the build able C-3PO and Luke’s Landspeeder). This $500 set wasn’t worth with?

The Bib Fortuna was inaccurate to this set! It felt that you cheaply provided the ‘fat Bib’ from recent sets that were from a different time period.

The Silacious Crumb is just poorly designed without pupils. Even in the 2nd box of the set, you show him clearly with pupils!

Paying $500 for a set, I am very disappointed in the quality of these figures and made me reflect on future Lego buying decisions.
Excellent but is it worth the price?
Dr.FantabulousPsychoBunny· Review provided by LEGO · October 28, 2024
Excellent product and attention to detail. I purchased it at the Lego store for the $500 price tag without hesitation because it brought me back to going to see the original Star Wars trilogy at the movie theater with my dad and older brother as a kid. Wish I could have received the free light saber with the purchase, but they were sold out. I asked if they could include the skiff scene kit instead and was advised unfortunately, they could not. I think the skiff Lego set is a must have to complete the set for the characters alone. Would be great if Lego could send you a gift card or the set for free for the price paid. Just a thought but extremely pleased if not fully satisfied.
