This is so cheaply made, it's almost laughable

October 26, 2020I usually purchase the Home Accents brand Halloween animatronics, but I'm guessing COVID has impacted a lot of that since there were almost none in stock. I purchased this and two other Haunted Hill props, and this one is the worst. I had to hot glue many spots on the hairline back to the head immediately out of the box. There are NO leg posts at all (like as the legs themselves for structure), so literally it is just very thin black fabric "pants" poorly hot glued to a "waist" ring. The shoes are just cheap plastic and one was already half off the pants straight out of the box-that are HOT GLUED to the "pants." The shoe was the wrong facing shoe too LOL! I just tore them completely off because how ridiculous they look and it wasn't worth hot gluing the one back on properly. The only thing that is decent about this prop is the way the lights in the eyes flash, although this is touch activated only. I had to hot glue the fake shirt, which isn't really a shirt, just a portion of front fabric, back to the front of the coat. I don't foresee this prop lasting more than two seasons...that is if it even lasts the few days before Halloween. I'm putting it out in the yard and will hide the crappy pant-legs behind a tombstone. I would have just returned, but I didn't want to mess with the store and all the customer service lines since COVID orders. I am SO GLAD I didn't pay full price for this. I think I still overpaid for what I got for $59.
[Rewarded Review] Scary, but cheaply made.

October 9, 2023I like the look of it but the material and the way it is put together is really cheap. I put it out on a day that got to 90 degrees and the shoes melted away from the pants and the pants melted away from the top. There is no weight to the legs, so they just kind of dangle.
cheap

October 19, 2020I was very disappointed with this zombie. I bought it online so I didn't know until it was delivered on how cheap it was made. The plastic that that face is made of is similar to those old plastic masks with a single rubber band to hold it in place. The lights that go in the eyes keep falling down between the mask and the styrofoam shaped head so his cheek and his chin light up instead of his eyes. To call this an animatronic is a joke.
