Don't waste your money on this thing. I paid $71 like an idiot, thinking this was something worth $71. It is not.

It's just a head with a moving mouth, but it's NOT motion-sensor so it's useless unless someone touches it AND it's so lightweight — one touch and it flops onto the ground.

Additionally, I bought it at 11:30 at night and the following morning the cost was cut in half.

BUT Lowes wouldn't give me a refund because the customer service rep said the new price wasn't reflected on her end. She refused to refund the difference DESPITE admitting to me that all the Haunted Hill Farm items were on markdown starting the day of my call through Nov. 1.

Had I gotten it for the $38 it was marked down, I wouldn't be so upset at the poor quality. But I paid a fair chunk of change for nothing but junk.
P.S. Lowes, it would be helpful; to have video of the animatronic items in the listings. I couldn't even see how crappy this thing was until I spent too much money and it got here. P.S.S. Shipping was fast, so I suppose that's a good thing.

I purchased this item because it seemed unique but he is a little underwhelming. His face is scary but his clothes are sparse and his eyes are too bright. Fortunately, I am crafty so I purchased lightweight black fabric to add to the prop which made a huge difference. The construction of this prop is a little poor. When I went to apply the fabric to the prop using my glue gun I found that a the top of his head it was coming apart and not attaching properly because it was not cut to size. Again, using my glue gun I corrected this problem. The only thing I am working on now is dulling his eyes a bit. When you are near him they are blinding. For the price I hoped for a better made prop. Hopefully, the manufacturer will read my comments and correct in the future.

I purchased all three of the tree men and Terry the terrible tree man is my favorite. All three tree men shipped super fast and were well packed. You will need to add three AAA batteries if you want them to talk. All three say the exact same phrases while their jaw moves. However their sensors, whether it’s motion or sound is not real reliable. I didn’t purchase for the talking part so this wasn’t an issue for me. I’m extremely pleased with their stand and appearance.

Compared to the animatronis from Spirt Halloween, this one definitely has more benefits. For one assembly was super easy. Packaging wasn't overly heavy. Voice box fairly clear and loud. I'd highly recommend.
