I like the idea of a lego advent calendar, I think theres some good ideas in this set. I feel like the minifigs hold it back. Since the minifigs don't look like the characters, its confusing why they are used. I think the version of this that's better is if its just a small build that gets larger, as you open more of the containers on the advent calendar. That's my idea, overall I'm having a good with what I bought, because at the end of the you can't control the world only your attitude. Hate only begets hate, and nothing can bring you down if you don't let it.

This was such a fun idea. My son absolutely loves Spiderman and having these little figures to put together every day is super fun. Each day you open up the slot and there is a picture on the back that shows you how to put that set together and what it's supposed to be. I definitely think this is something that all kids would look forward to during the holiday season. I don't know where to put the legos after we put them together or how to keep them so that will know which piece goes to what but it's a neat idea

We’ve bought the advent calendars for a few years now and this Spiderman one (six days in) has been the worst one by some distance.

Some of the most uninspiring builds behind each box so far. Compared to his brothers Lego Star Wars advent calendar this one is just terrible.

Who gets a spidey advent calendar to build a bin or a traffic light? He’s not even excited to open it anymore. I’d avoid it next year if it’s anything like this.

Some of the builds are OK, but most make no sense and are very disappointing to smaller kids. My son is 4 and doesn't care for the trash can, stop light, or 'mini car' that doesn't roll, and there are no directions so we're left trying to figure out the build ourselves. I get that it's about making a scene, but two mini cars that do nothing and don't fit seems just lazy - NOT something I expect from Lego, especially at this price. I doubt I'll choose another advent from Lego.
