Rock The Richtersveld #6: 01 June 2024 – 08 June 2024 (8 Spots Left)

This is one of our great adventure tours and we are doing it for the sixth time. We are excited to take you on this 8-day exploration into the heart of the wilderness areas of the Northern Cape! We will guide you to incredible viewpoints with views over the valleys and thousands of hectares of beautiful and unforgettable scenery.
We have created an off-the-beaten track, off-road tour on gravel, twee-spoor, mountain and other off-road tracks. You will need a 4×4 high clearance vehicle and the tour is suitable for an off-road camping trailer. All the campsites are rustic, but have suitable facilities.

We will get together near Port Nolloth from where we will travel to Sendelingsdrift to start this epic adventure into the park. We spend 5 nights next to the Orange (Gariep) river at 3 different campsites. We also camp in the mountains for one night. We will drive all of the popular passes and will explore most of the routes and back roads in the Richtersveld National Park. We will enjoy incredible views of nature and there are many hidden gems; we will attempt to visit most of them. The adventure ends eight days later in Springbok.

The tour is self-catering, but we will propose a menu closer to the time. You will need to bring your own firewood for the first few days. There are some small shops along the way throughout the tour to re-stock.

A fully serviced reliable vehicle in very good condition
Enough fuel for 650km (mainly gravel travel), tire repair kit
All your water, meals, drinks and snacks for at least 6 days.
Fire Wood (as much as you can take)
First Aid Kit as per your requirements

Qualified Wilderness First Responder First Aider (Level 3) and advanced First Aid Kit
Pre-paid Camping, Park and al Entrance Fees. (When accommodated inside the park)l
VHF Radios for inter-vehicle communication
Advanced Recovery gear
Printed Map, Photos and short trip video
STARLINK satellite high-speed internet for most of the time (close to our vehicle).

PRICE

Tour price is R 7950 per person sharing.
Half-price for children under 12
Children under 6 are free (at the time of the tour).
Single supplement is R 10 000.
Pricing for non-SADC members is available on request.
