Karl Otto Koch 78, of Souderton, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at his residence.

He was the loving husband to Rhoda Ehst-Koch for 16 years. Karl was born in Bad Koesen /Saale, Germany, to the late Ernst & Charlotte (Unknown) Koch.

Karl graduated from college in Germany and attended Wharton School of Business, Philadelphia.

Throughout his working life time, Karl was an International Exporter of industrial materials.

He loved Classical music, the outdoors, especially kayaking, hiking, cross country skiing, and biking. He was trained as a teacher naturalist at Peace Valley Nature Center, Doylestown.

Karl actively supported organizations protecting the environment and land preservation.
He also supported humanitarian groups, such as Doctors Without Borders.

In addition to his wife he is survived by, two sisters, Anna Marie Koch of Hagen, Germany and Eva Benesch of Engelheim, Germany.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Angela (Skubic) Koch and his sister, Sabina Koch.

Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
